The special thing about these new shoes isn’t just their eccentric new design or oceanic blue colour, but that they also contribute in saving our oceans.
Talk about multi-purpose.
How, you ask?
The joint venture was established a few years ago.
Parley, already playing a major part in cleaning up and recycling tons of the ocean’s plastic, created, along with adidas, Parley Ocean Plastic™, which forms the base of the shoes Primeknit upper material.
And 95% of the shoe has been constructed by the recycled material, which equates to approximately 11 plastic bottles – bottles that could potentially have entered our oceans.

So the final finish isn’t just inspired by the ocean’s colours but actually helps save it too.
