There Will Now Be Specialised Departments In The Public Prosecution To Fight Anti-Corruption
Thanks to King Salman!
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has officially approved to have specialised departments in the Public Prosecutor's office on Sunday. This is done to investigate more cases of corruption in the Kingdom and prosecute whoever is involved, reports Saudi Press Agency.
The King and the Crown Prince are keen in continuing the fight against corruption
According to Saudi Gazette, the departments will be directly linked to the Attorney General. King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman want to completely rid the Kingdom of corruption, and are keen in implementing laws to achieve this. Previously, it was the Public Employment Crimes Department that dealt with corruption cases until King Salman's approval.
