Saudi Warns Strict Economic Measures Are Coming To Protect The Kingdom
Saudi has confirmed its willingness to take strict and painful measures to manage the COVID-19 consequences on the economy.
The Kingdom’s Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan reported they will look at all options, including sharply reducing budgets and a slow down on government projects.
Speaking to Al-Arabiya TV, Al-Jadaan stated the welfare of citizens is the top priority and the actions will be for everyone’s benefit.
The Kingdom will take increased measures to ensure the amount of debt will not be increased and initiatives in both the public and private sector will be reviewed in line with that.
