The Ministry of Haj and Umrah announced in a statement recently that Qatari citizens and residents are very much welcome to perform their Umrahs as long as they comply with specifications. According to Saudi Gazette, the person(s) wishing to perform Umrah will have to register their personal information upon arriving at the King Abdelaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Expats living in Qatar can perform Umrah after registering their info on the ministry’s website
To have a hassle-free experience, residents of Qatar can head to the ministry’s website, and complete the electronic contracting process with Umrah companies authorised by the Kingdom.
Both Qatari citizens and expats may arrive for Umrah during Ramadan by air
Pilgrims wishing to come to the Kingdom to perform their Umrah may do so by air, arriving at the King Abdelaziz International Airport in Jeddah (all airlines except Qatar Airways allowed.)
Upon the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, the authorities harnessed all potential, capabilities and resources for the service of Umrah pilgrims.
