Till now citizens of very few countries were bestowed with inexpensive visit visa fees, the latest entry to that list of countries is Pakistan.
The new visa fees have been announced as per a press statement by the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad.
The single entry visa, which earlier used to cost SAR 2,000 has been slashed to SAR 338. Well as the prices of the multiple entry visa has been brought down from SAR 3,000 to SAR 675.

The move has been highly praised by the large Pakistani expat community in Saudi.
The new visa fee has been announced coinciding with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s landmark visit to Pakistan. Pakistanis on Twitter are welcoming him with WelcomePrinceMBS hashtag.
