Netizens called out MAC Cosmetics for their recently uploaded video called ‘Get Ready For Suhoor’ for sort of missing the point. Muslim women responded to the video in with humorous responses, by pinpointing their supposed ‘looks’ for Suhoor.
Suhoor is the meal that one has before the fast is set to commence again, usually after midnight and eaten at home. Otherwise, some families might drive to restaurants or go to the mosque.
The video, ‘Get Ready For Suhoor’ has since been taken down
The Canadian make-up line’s video has since been taken off of YouTube, but this hasn’t stopped the femmes from clapping back (in comedic forms).
LOL SUHOOR LOOK suhoor is a middle of a night meal usually eaten at home (before the fast starts), and *if* Muslims go out it’s either to the masjid or IHOP. Ain’t no one doing a look ???? pic.twitter.com/nZcW458dUg

Many showed what their typical suhoor ‘look’ would be like..
Same, to be honest.

An interesting perspective was bought in though
I think MAC was sending this to their Mid East market, where midnight suhoor parties are a thing. They shoulda kept the word ‘party’ and targeted iftar to make it more broad and sensible.

“I love inclusion and MAC but who’s putting on a full face of makeup for a pre-dawn meal?”
Um. I love inclusion & I love @MACcosmetics, but who’s putting on a full face of makeup – or any makeup at all – for a pre-dawn meal?? #Ramadan #Suhoor https://t.co/1l5uqDzsKD HT @Meha pic.twitter.com/LsMah6jZTh
