Like the other projects announced by the Kingdom this year, this new project as well is of whopping proportions. Here’s what we know about it so far.
The industrial complex will convert crude oil to chemicals at the largest scale that the world has ever seen.
And will be set up at a cost of a mammoth $20 Billion.
Saudi Aramco and SABIC – the kingdom’s flagship companies are coming together for this venture.
The venture is part of Vision 2030 and is expected to bring in much economic growth and prosperity to the country.
Over 30,000 jobs are expected to be created because of this.
400,000 barrels of crude oil will be processed in this facility that will produce 9 million tons of chemicals on a daily basis.
The complex will be operational by 2025.
