Mohammed Abdu was born in Aldarb governorate in Jazan Southern Saudi Arabia in 1949. He started his music career in the early ’60s when he sang in a radio program called ‘Baba Abba’s’ in 1960 and discovered by the great poet Taher Zamakhshari.

The iconic artist, Mohammed Abdu, collaborated with the best poets and composers in the Arabic world and created several immortal songs such as Sawtak Yenadeny, Esmahely Ya Gharam, Bent Al-Nour, Al-Amaken, Tanshed A’n El-Hal, and many more marvelous songs.
