The bodies of two Saudi sisters who were found dead last week in the Hudson River in New York have been brought back to Saudi Arabia.
They were laid to rest early Sunday in Medina’s al Baqi cemetery
The bodies of Tala Farea, 16, and Rotana Farea, 22, had arrived earlier in the King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah where they were received and transported to Medina.
According to Arab News, the sisters had been living in Virginia with their mother, but Rotana had recently moved to live in New York.
Police have uncovered no credible evidence that Rotana Farea and Tala Farea were victims of foul play.
Investigations are still ongoing.
