Despite the rift between the two countries, year after year Saudi Arabia has been welcoming Qatari pilgrims with open arms. This year too proves to be no different.
According to Asharq Al Awsat newspaper, the Kingdom has announced today that it was welcoming Qataris who are seeking to perform the Umrah rituals. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reported that the facility has been provided at the behest of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman.
Saudi authorities have also launched a dedicated portal for Qatari pilgrims on which they’ll have to register.
After which they will have to travel to either the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or the Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
