The ministry also set out a plan to plant 10 million trees by 2022
During the event, the minsitry discussed the important roles of the government and people when it comes to taking care of the country’s natural areas and work on protecting its plant life.
Al Ahsa’s oasis, in fact, one of the largest oases in the world (yes, the world) with over 30 million palm trees and was recently added to UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list.
Planting 10 million trees is, in fact, going to be a major step in controlling the climate of the country.
