Great news for young Saudis who are just entering the workforce- plenty of new jobs await!
Several major agreements have been signed to hire Saudi youth in developing parts of the agriculture sector
Agreements have been signed to Saudize major parts of the agriculture sector which will provide 32, 500 jobs to young Saudis in agriculture.
This includes 6,000 jobs in various agriculture fields, in addition to 6,500 jobs in firms that have signed contracts with the water sector, and over 20,000 occupations in privately owned firms.
Efforts are also being made to also promote and support a self-employment project within the sector
This is part of a larget initiative to provide jobs to Saudis and nurture homegrown talent. In September, local government departments were banned from seeking consultancy services from foreign firms and limiting them to working with Saudi companies instead.
