National Day celebrations were next-level this year, thousands of events took place and the Kingdom even achieved its aim for the Guinness World record.

But it was also a good day from a citizen of Ha’il, after his daughter’s birth coincided with the 88th National Day, on Sunday (September 23rd).

The resident named his child ‘Watan’ to commemorate her date of birth

According to Al Watan News 24, the Ha’il native named the baby girl ‘Watan’.

Watan, being the Arabic word for ‘nation’ or ‘country’.

Adoooorable!

We can already imagine the nicknames… ‘Watani’ (my country) leading all the other plausible names.
