Makkah is now a hosting a “rival” flower festival and it’s got a lot of people excited. Here’s why you should be too.
One of the biggest highlights of the festival is a prayer rug made of flowers.
It measures a whopping 185 x 45 meters and is made of one million flowers.
The festival is running only for five days with the last day being on the 23rd of March.
It is taking place in the city of Muzdalifah, which is one of the stops on the Hajj pilgrimage.
