Abdulrahman is a Riyadh-born player so his return would be monumental
The player, Abdul Rahman, who was also 2016's Asian Player of the Year is reportedly in a contract extension with Al Ain on the condition that he spends a season on loan at Al Hilal.
The Riyadh-born player will make a return to the Kingdom, and returning to the team (Al Hilal) whom he also played for as a youth player in 2000.
Many are wondering why he opted to stay in the region

It got me wondering: Who's Concacaf's biggest 'what if?', a player who seemed like he'd succeed in Europe but never left the region.
Even reports of the amount he was paid for the year-long loan went around the web!
