The Dakar Rally Is Coming To Saudi Arabia And It’s The First Time That The Race Will Be Held In The Middle East

Rally Raid

After Europe, Africa and South America, the Dakar Rally is now making its way to Saudi Arabia.

The Dakar Rally is one of the most famous rally raids in the world and we in Saudi have gone super excited by their recent announcement of holding the coveted rally in the kingdom in 2020.

The rally is notorious for being extremely challenging in which participants have to crisscross gruelling terrain.

Saudi Arabia’s barren yet scenic desert is just apt for the circuit and maybe that is why it got selected to be the host country.

The Dakar Rally was taking place in South America for over a decade before finally now making its move to Saudi.

Excited Dakar Rally drivers took to Twitter about the surprise announcement and by the looks of it, they seem to be stunned by the landscape that they perhaps have to drive through.
