The first flight of a US airline to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in over two decades arrived in the country earlier this week.
The flight coming from Ohio landed in Jeddah
The flight landing at King Abdul Aziz International Airport carried 168 passengers to perform Haj for the first time since 1997.
On their arrival the pilgrims were greeted by several officials from the administration of King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Ministry of Haj and Umrah, and the US Consulate at the airport lounge.
There are hopes that will contribute to stimulating the rest of US air carriers to restart flights between the two countries.
