The Crown Prince sponsored the closing ceremony of the Crown Prince Camel Festival during its second edition at the camel racing field in Taif
Upon the arrival of the Crown Prince, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Sport, gave a word of thanks and gratitude to the King and the Crown Prince. He thanked them for their continuous support for athletes in Saudi Arabia, and their continuous care in developing all fields of the sportive sectors, and for enabling the young men and young women to serve their country in organizing large international sport events
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Sports Authority added that they are witnessing the closure of the second season of the annual festival with great pride for all the level of care, follow-up, and participation that the festival has reached
This year witnessed the participation of 13,377 camels in 439 rounds alongside 4.080 camel owners. This reflects the advanced level of competitions in the festival and the aspiration of camel owners to gain the honor of participation.
